teachers are so unfair & unreasonable sometimes
my ap world teacher especially (lol so done w/ her. i could care less if she got fired)
she assigned my class a group project to create our own dbq (docs/prompt etc) all that stuff like a typical ap world dbq essay kinda thing. & so my group did.
my teacher set deadlines for each thing so we first made our docs & then our rough drafts for our essays (based on our docs, basically a dbq essay) was due a week afterwards. okay, so nbd. so yesterday was the day the rough draft was due, she went around, checked that we all did it & next thing you know, she returns the documents with a grade. & my group got a 22/30 because 2 of the docs were from USA and there were minor mistakes on the sources. then, when one of my group members asked if we need to fix the docs from the US to ones that aren't, she says yes. LOL like are you fucking kidding me? we wrote rough drafts based on our docs, and NOW you wanna go tell us that we gotta fix it? seriously, you're just wasting my goddamn time telling me to write a rough draft in the first place if i can't even use it. also, how is it OUR fault that 2 of our docs were from the US? You didn't even give us a sheet stating all the requirements for the project, looool, you said everything orally ONCE like we would remember every little detail right? the thing i don't really get is, why can't the docs even be from the us lmao. we're learning about WORLD HISTORY aren't we? & isn't US part of the WORLD???? is it just me whose missing out on something thinking the us is part of the world??? in that case, oops ma bad. but lol i swear when i told that to someone, they replied saying, "no thats what us history is for" lool alright if US history is for only the US and you wanna neglect the US from world history, then why bother mentioning the US in ww1/ww2? i mean following your logic, we'll learn about them in us history right cuz we're talking the US, and US suddenly isnt part of the rest of the world right??? jesus christ make some damn sense....
