We're writing to let you know that your child has logged on to The Club, Nickelodeon's interactive community. In the Club, kids can use their anonymous NickName to create and decorate their own rooms, visit exciting interactive common rooms, watch Nickelodeon videos and play games.
One of the most exciting features of the Club is that kids can actually communicate safely with each other in real time. Right now, your child is able to use Nick Safe Chat, which uses our sanitized dictionary, specifically screened by Nick, to communicate with other kids who have NickNames registered in the Club.
If you'd prefer to limit your child's chat abilities, you have two options. You can select a limited Nick Safe Chat where your child will only see chat from his or her friends (players that your child has put on his or her NickName List). Or you can select Pre-Written Messages, which disables the Nick Safe Chat and only allows your child to choose from a list of messages pre-written by Nickelodeon. To make either of these changes, just visit the Club with your child. Once he or she logs in to the Club, you can create a parent account attached to your child's the Club account. There YOU can choose your child's level of Nick Safe Chat or Pre-Written Messages.
Go to: http://www.nick.com/club/parental-control.html to get started.
Your Child's NickName is: str4ever
We hope you enjoy your visit to the Club as much as we've enjoyed creating it. While you're there, please read our Safety Information for Parents, Ground Rules and theNick Online Safety Guide. Better yet, read the Ground Rules and Safety Guide with your child and talk about Internet safety together.
