Day 1: List 20 random facts about yourself
1. I have a serious shopping problem. I shop pretty frequently, and every time when I do, I tell myself that I won't buy anything for a couple of months to make up for all the damage I've done and in the end I barely last a couple of weeks before I go shopping again.
3. I currently work at Kumon and have worked there for over a year now.
2. I went on vacation to Korea, Hong Kong, and Macau this past summer. It was an amazing experience and a great getaway.
Here are some pictures from my trip:

4. I enjoy baking. I would bake a lot more frequently but my mom doesn't let me use the oven since she thinks I'll burn something down.
5. I love watching Korean dramas. They're overly dramatic but I can't help but watch them because they're so entertaining.
6. I can't imagine a life without Netflix. My favorite shows which include: Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, and Sherlock are all on there.
7. I have sort of a fear of heights? I'm a lil scared of going down the poles at parks but absolutely love LOVE LOVE roller coasters.
8. My favorite roller coaster is Nitro. I love all the drops.
9. I am practically legally blind without my glasses. Without my glasses I can only see things clearly about 6 inches away from my face
10. I've had glasses since I was in Kindergarten. (That's how blind I am)
11. My favorite shoes are flip fops. Most people think they're uncomfortable, but I absolutely love them.
12. Whenever I'm not paying attention in class, I'm almost definitely looking for split ends in my hair. Sometimes I come out of class with a lot less split ends than I came in because I pick at them in class.
13. I had braces for about 2.5 years until I finally got them off.
14. While I had braces, I believe I swallowed a bracket that fell off. A bracket disappeared, and I couldn't find it! The only possible explanation....
15. I love taking pictures of my food. I don't know why because I don't even have an Instagram and I hardly post these pictures anywhere. But, I just like remembering what I ate and looking back (LOL, I'm mad strange)
16. I am able to do this strange thing with my knees where I can move them without moving my whole leg. (It's hard to explain)
17. I'm a bargain hunter. I almost never buy items at full price. I always look for deals even when shopping at stores like Abercrombie & Hollister. I think it's a little outrageous to ever be paying $50 for a single shirt.
18. I rarely ever wear skirts. I'm not sure why. I guess I'm a little bit of a tomboy. I think some skirts are really pretty but I can't ever imagine myself wearing them.
19. I hate reading. I've only read maybe one or two books completely. Every other book I've "read", I've only actually skimmed or read summaries on sparknotes for.
20. I'm selectively social. I can be both an extrovert and an introvert. It depends on the people I'm with.
Senior Year WADDUP
s/o to mahin for commenting on a post motivating me to make a blog post
I have to say, to the very least, I should make at least one blog post at the start of the school year and the end of the school year just so I can compare and look back on what's changed, even if there's not much in between.
first things first, I'M A SENIOR NOW.
i've been waiting for this moment since the beginning of freshman year and it's truly hard to believe that senior year is finally within my grasp.
I'm absolutely thrilled for senior year. reasons being:
1) my schedule is actually decent this year. I have enough APs/college classes to keep me busy with a balance of frees so that I can still relax and avoid stress.
2) it's the beginning of the end, which automatically gives me a boost of energy.
3) this year is my year
of course I'm not looking forward to any college applications though...
I keep telling myself to get started and write a college essay, but I'm still stuck in my summer slack-off mode. and at the same time, I've looked at the essay prompts and i just can't seem to find anything worth writing. i am honestly way too ordinary. I haven't done anything spectacular, and my grades aren't spectacular either. I haven't had any life changing experiences and I hardly know what I want to do in the future. I'm just me. It's always so difficult to write about something or talk about something when it's about yourself.
Senior Year Goals:
Academically
1) Maintain a 97+ (weighted) average (lol i'm gonna die.)
2) Stay ahead in AP Psych (don't wait until the last minute to do outlines!!!)
3) Pay attention in Humanities and try to participate often and maybe even read the books for once...
4) Use your time wisely, especially on days you work. You don't want to end up staying up late finishing assignments. (I've never really had a problem with this, but you know, I can't let senioritis get to me)
5) Determine if I want to take the ACT again, and if I do get to work immediately and try to get a 33+
6) Do lots of college research and end up in a college you truly like!
Other
1) Attends clubs and or find one activity to stay dedicated to. I really want to volunteer somewhere long-term. I want to stay as productive as possible this year so I don't slack-off.
2) Talk to as many people as possible this year! Schools a lot easier when you have more people by your side. (Although I'm naturally very independent and hardly ever rely on anyone, I feel like senior year is a good year to make the most of it. I'll probably never see the bulk of these people ever again anyways)
3) Don't forget to relax. I know senior year will probably get overwhelming at times, but never ever forget to relax. I think academics are important, but I also think that enjoying yourself is just as important.
Anyways, I think that's all for my blog post! I'll add other things if anything comes to mind. I hope you guys have a great senior year of high school. It's the last, so make it count.
ALSO, if anyone from 801 sees this, can we please plan a reunion or something once we all graduate? I really want to catch up and talk about what we'll all be doing in the future.

just looked back on my goals for junior year & i'm happy to say that i accomplished MOST of them!!
the only thing if anything i could've improved would have to be studying for the SAT... idk but i just wasn't feelin it. the SAT is honestly just another tedious exam that can't truly determine your worth and at this point i'm sooooo done with it. LOL i took it twice & i can proudly say that i will never ever ever ever ever take another one again! didn't necessarily hit my goal of 2200+ but who gives. all i really need to do is get into a college. one year later, and i still have no idea exactly where i want to go, but even if i do find out, i'll probably opt out to something cheap versus what i want anyways.
BUT AYEE on the bright side i actually managed to pull a 90+ in english this year!!! AHAHAHHAhahah this is legtimately a first for me like pls i've had 88s for the past 2 years but not anymore *breakthrough*
junior year was gr8 academically for me, but socially i think this is by far the year i've drifted the most with ppl who i used to be best buds with :( everyone's slowly finding their own way and are so busy with their own things meanwhile i am just here.
i tell myself that i seriously need to like DO SOMETHING, but i don't even know where to start.
